“A Reflection of its Top Executive”

February 4, 2012

Politicians are snakes who are willing to do anything to win.  Their words cannot be trusted.  Their past legislation may or may not indicate their future legislation.  Their rhetorical records and voting history is full of contradictions.

To those who are in politics but are not like this, they are not politicians.  They are statesmen.  They are few in number.

Here’s a dead-on quote:

They say the culture of an organization is a reflection of its top executive…

And,

There is simply no excuse for the type of violent, boorish and abusive behavior demonstrated by Mr. Gingrich’s campaign.

Whoever thought it would be a good idea to physically assault an opponent’s supporter is a political idiot.  That’s just bad press.

Whoever thought it would be acceptable to physically assault an opponent’s supporter is morally void–and likely correct in assessing what is acceptable to his boss.

After all, Mr. Gingrich is a man who abandoned two wives on his own whims.  What kind of moral authority does he have over his campaign aides?  And what kind of moral expectations can he have for them?  And what kind of morals would he approve of if it would gain him votes?  What level of morality do his supporters truly have?

Politicians are snakes who hide in tall grass waiting to strike.
